About this Model:
At more than 10" long, this 1/72 scale Hobby Master model of an F-105B Thunderchief flown by the U.S. Air Force "Thunderbirds" for six air shows in 1964 - a fatal accident from overstressing the airframe forced a switch back to the F-100 Super Sabre - is an awesome display! It features engraved panel lines, an intricate cockpit with an opening canopy and a removable pilot figure, a finely replicated "wasp waist" with realistic intakes in the wing roots, optional-position air brakes and landing gear, and authentic markings, including the unit's famous Thunderbird painted on the bottom. Measures 10¾" long with a 5¾" wingspan and includes a display stand.
