This F4U is depicted after the last of Frederick Streig`s tally was scored, 2.5 Zekes claimed over Rabaul on January 27, 1944.It is unusual in that it retains the red surround to the national insignia, a color that only appeared with the addition of white bars on June 28, 1943, with the surround disappearing on July 31 due to possible confusion with the Japanese Hinomaru.Wingspan: 7"
