Diecast, beautifully detailed replica in 1/221 scale. Stand included. In late 1985, the US Air Force introduced the B-1B Lancer to serve as a long-range multi-role strategic bomber. The B-1B was the Air Force’s first “stealth-like” bomber with a radar cross-section one-quarter that of the B-52. It reached a maximum speed of Mach 1.25 and had the ability to take-off at a maximum weight of 477,000 pounds. The Lancer maintains three internal weapons bays that can be used for conventional bombs, cruise missiles, short-range attack missiles and nuclear bombs. (F Series-Orange Box) |
