Corgi Aviation Archive Diecast Model Westland Lysander Mk.II - AN-B/L4761 No.13 Squadron, RAF, 1939
1/72 Scale - AA36805 Wingspan: 8.5" XIII formed at Gosport on January 10, 1915 and operated in France, initially on Army Co-operation duties and subsequently on bombing raids, pioneering formation bombing. The inter-war years saw the squadron operating a variety of aircraft types in England. By the autumn of 1939 the Sqn was equipped with Lysanders and operated in France until May 1940 when No. XIII Sqn changed role and theatre. The following year was spent on anti-submarine and anti-invasion patrols before Blenheims arrived and the Squadron returned to army co-operation duties.
