About this Model: First flown in 1932, the Boeing P-26 Peashooter was the first all-metal production fighter and the first pursuit monoplane accepted by the U.S. Army Air Corps. Replicating a P-26A flown by the 20th Pursuit Group - the first group to receive the new plane in 1933 - stationed at Louisiana's Barksdale Field, this 1/48 scale, die cast Hobby Master model has it all!
You get engraved panel lines and real wire wing rigging, a detailed cockpit with a clear windscreen and a removable pilot figure, a realistic gun sight (from which the "Peashooter" got its nickname), an intricate Pratt & Whitney 600-horsepower Wasp engine with a rotating propeller, realistic landing gear, and authentic markings, including the group's "Victory by Valor" emblem on the fuselage. Measures 7" in wingspan and arrives ready to display on the included stand.
