This is a TV-2 Shooting Star - the U.S. Navy's version of the U.S. Air Force's T-33A two-seat trainer - flown as a liaison aircraft by Lt. Bruce Bagwell of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels in 1955, this 1/72 scale, die cast Falcon Models airplane features engraved panel lines and simulated rivets, a detailed cockpit with an opening canopy, prototypical wingtip fuel tanks, optional-position landing gear, and authentic Blue Angels markings, including "Naval Air Command Training" written on the fuel tanks. 6½" wingspan; includes a display stand.
